Hello! How are you today? Could you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m doing great! I’m Renato Mariano and you can call me RENEN from the Philippines. I have been a member of DA for almost three years. Often times looking at DA refreshes my inner soul.
So, when did you first discover Vexel Art?
Actually I was an avid fan of vector art. Browsing different kinds of art leads me to discovery of vexel art, which turn out to be more exciting. Through vexel art I was able to explore colors and concept to my artworks which thought me the virtue of patience in putting all the details and elements.
And how would you describe your work?
I tried to give the impression of a detailed realistic vexel art. I love putting different elements needed to produce best art possible but it takes a lot of time.

If someone were to ask you, “what is vexel art?”, what would you tell them?
Vexel art for me is a combination of vector and pixel combined in only rasterized layers. It is a clear manifestation of modern art.
Who are some of your favourite vexel artists or inspirations around dA?
~Lullipops, ~Aseo, ~zldz they are all great Filipino vexel artists; their works are presented in a detailed manner, making it appear very awesome.
Interesting. For anyone hoping to get started in vexel art, what would you recommend?
Have the passion and a lot of patience to come up with the best vexel art, work on your strenghts and never give up because the best art you could give is a reflection of any artist hearts and soul. Anyone can be unique on its own way. You can check our work and tutorials on facebook page Vector X Vexel PH, we’ll be glad to assists you to what ever help that we could extend. Thank you so much
