"50 points?? Why would I pay 50 points for an adopt..."
or...
"100 points? Are you sure you're not overpricing that...?!"
And I'm sure many of you have seen similar comments, now I understand that points aren't the easiest things to accumulate when you're fresh into dA or even well into your time here, as I was once a 13 year old kid who joined dA and got excited over her first 10 points

Yesiree we have come a long way in just a few months, and to celebrate we are going to be doing a huge collab!! If you would like to, you can submit a drawing of a journeyer, wayfarer, etc (preferably transparent, but if you dont know how/cant do that, it is ok!), then we can put them all on a HUGE background! ANYONE can participate, and here are the rules to submit a drawing:
RULES OR THINGS TO BE ADVISED OF?? IDK:
~Make your pose interesting!! It is OK if your lil guy is just standing, but feel free to make him do anything you want, flying, chirping, you choose!
~very importanto: full body picture!!
~OC's are accepted!! Though it is not necessary for you fella to be an OC! (also can be any color cloak)
~Once you have your drawing, make sure that the edges are clean!
~Submit your drawing to the group folder "Collab entries!" so that we can keep them all in one place :>
~Leave a comment if you submitted! <3

Share Your Writing Process

Writing this journal, I feel I prematurely posted it. The goal was to get others talking about the writing process and how they approach it, but the emphasis became my work, which is a no-no! So with that in mind, here are some questions to take into consideration (and a silly one, because why not).
Do you feel your writing process is 'fixed,' or that it changes depending on what you are writing?
Do you edit as you write? How does this affect the finished product?
How do you feel your process is unique compared to others?
How come when you call a wrong number, someone is always home?
In addition, if you would like to get involved with this journal on another level and would like to display your writing as you develop it and answer questions about your process, do leave a comment saying so with a link (on dA) to where the writing can be found so that others can watch it progress and keep me updated (I'll most likely watch those that participate, to stay updated).

'100 Faces of Anthro' ProjectHeya guys. I'm making a little project called '100 Faces of Anthro' that I'll be doing for ideally the next 50 days. Basically, it will be 100 avatars/portraits of fursonas and anthro characters all put together into a collage. I'll be drawing 2 a day, so it will take 50 days, and I'm just beginning day 4 now.
Now comes the part you might be more interested in. I want each avatar to be of a community member. That way we can all look at the final product and know how we contributed. We'll see all the supporters and lovers of Anthro art in this picture. We could have a collage of about 90ish community members, all represented as a part of this work of art. I don't know about you, but I think that would be pretty cool to see.

Vexel Week

As Vexel Week draws to an end, I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who got involved and read the articles, or joined the contest, or completed the games sheet, or came to any of the chat events, or all of them! You're all fantastic, and I love you

Now, this blog is called "We'd Like To See" and is a place for you to leave your input both on the week itself, and the vexel gallery and community in general. Here's some bullet points as food for thought...

What did you enjoy most about this PE week?

What would you like to see happen more often within the vexel community?

Do you have any ideas for contests that you'd like to see happen?

Would you like another PE week in a few months time?

Should there always be at least one thing going on to participate in?

Would you like to join collaborations, or do you prefer the more competitve side of things?

I enjoy all these weeks even if I mostly quietly read and such. I love the contests or trivia games, they make the week more interesting. Interviews are great, art features are the best and the information is always good.

Future week ideas - Sculpture, Fantasy artists, how to participate in the community better tips, pencil drawing, etc.

For this week I enjoyed the information about Vexel. I remember learning the difference between vexel and vector before but this is really good and helpful reminder. Thanks so much for all your work and for sharing
